Graham Scholars

Each year we submit project opportunities to the Graham Scholars program. Students have the opportunity to learn about the work, submit their interest and are assigned to work on various projects teams.

Lauren May

Hello! My name is Lauren May, and I'm a junior studying Data Science with a minor in Environmental Studies. I grew up in Traverse City, MI, and loved getting involved in local climate action, so I'm really excited to help Ann Arbor reach its carbon neutrality goals and build skills and connections through this project.

Michael Catrambone

Hello! My name is Michael Catrambone and I am a junior at the University of Michigan, with a double major in Economics and Environment. I am am very interested in environmental conservation and corporate sustainability, so I am very excited to join the Washtenaw 2030 District to help them reach their greenhouse gas reduction goals!

Abigail Zang

Hi, my name is Abigail Zang and I am a junior studying Chemical Engineering with

a minor in Public Policy and Sustainable Engineering. I have an interest in renew-able energy and sustainable consumer goods. I am from Waterford, MI and I like to go on hikes and bake cookies in my spare time. I am excited to work with 2030 District so I can get real-life experience with sustainability in a data-driven environment.

Catherine Li

Hello! My name is Catherine Li, and I am currently a junior majoring in Business at the University of Michigan, with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I'm from Orlando, Florida and have a strong passion for sustainable fashion!

I previously interned at Siemens Gamesa Renew-able Energy, which further fueled my interest in sustainability.

I am excited to explore how stakeholders influence business sustainability initiatives and am looking forward to honing my data analysis skills.

Lily Bourgeois

Hi! My name is Lily Bourgeois and I’m a junior majoring in Data Science Engineering and minoring

in Public Policy. I’m from Livonia, Michigan, and the privilege of growing up with-in the beauty of outdoor Michigan gave way to my passion for sustainability, both from an environmental and social lens. I look

forward to working with Washtenaw District 2030 to build on my data analysis skills within the context of sustainability.
