Join our Green Groups quarterly meeting Monday evening at Beth Israel Congregation 7-8:30pm (see below for logistical details*) to hear from Dr. Christopher Fici, a member of the Engagement team for the City of Ann Arbor’s Office of Sustainability and Innovations, about the A2ZERO Plan. The A2ZERO Plan is a city-wide dynamic initiative designed to help the Ann Arbor community move rapidly towards carbon neutrality and a deeper commitment to sustainable living.
How can this Plan benefit our Houses of Worship in Ann Arbor? Join Dr. Fici to learn more and be in conversation as to how your congregations and infrastructures can actively take advantage of the A2ZERO Plan. Have members of your community expressed interest in solarizing and weatherizing their home? Dr. Fici will share more about the A2ZERO Home Energy Advisor program and the excellent A2ZERO Rebates program, which makes sustainability more affordable and accessible. Has your congregation considered making your energy infrastructure more sustainable, both economically and ecologically? Dr. Fici will share how the A2ZERO Plan is specifically designed to help you provide your community with more sustainable energy use, through solar panels and heat pumps.
*A Zoom option will be available. Please email Murray Rosenthal (scibridge0@gmail.com) to request a link.
