What is a 2030 District?

The Lansing 2030 District is a public-private partnership committed
to creating high-performing buildings and smart mobility options that:

Drawdown carbon in Lansings’
built environment

Increase marketability and
profitability for property owners

Strengthen the greater
community’s vibrancy

We do this through:

Education

Cutting carbon can be a challenge, but the Lansing District is here to help you get a handle on all aspects of carbon reduction. From energy efficiency to employee commuting, we have resources to help you start making a difference in your community.

Advocacy

Lansing is committed to a cleaner, greener future. The Lansing 2030 District and the City of Lansing have partnered to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030. We’re prioritizing equity and seeking community input to develop effective climate policies and initiatives.
