The Grand Rapids 2030 District and the City of Grand Rapids have partnered with one goal in mind: to get our beautiful city to zero greenhouse gas emissions. With projects like E.H.Zero, or Policies and Programs for Equitable, Healthy & Zero Carbon Buildings, we are working towards that goal through an equity lens, while asking our community what they want in city-wide carbon policies and programs.
In addition to E.H. Zero, GR2030 is here to provide guidance for cannabis businesses to follow the City’s current zoning, Zero Carbon, and relicensing regulations through cannabis energy management research.

Finding where to start with energy efficiency, carbon tracking, designing to zero carbon, etc. can be overwhelming, but GR2030 is here to help. Through your membership, you gain access to our carbon-tracking software via nZero, which we will assist you with every step. You also gain a plethora of resources, such as the Zero Carbon Resource Library, Education Portal, and Youtube Channel where we feature our past webinars and other video content.
