The “Unity in the Community” gathering is an opportunity for justice-oriented organizations (climate, environmental, social, immigration, etc…) to gather and meet, fostering new connections and strengthening existing bonds across Greater Grand Rapids. In this shared space, participants will acknowledge the interconnected struggles facing marginalized communities and create room to collectively grieve the ongoing challenges. By sharing cultural expression and reflection, the event is designed to heal and cultivate the deep solidarity needed to unite diverse movements, leaving with a renewed sense of hope and a coordinated strategy for direct action and a more just future for all.
