Changes to Michigan Energy Code for Commercial Buildings – E3M Solutions

Please join Grand Rapids 2030 District member company E3M Solutions at their event, Changes to Michigan Energy Code for Commercial Buildings, where they will share information about the State of Michigan energy code changes for commercial building construction.

The event will be Wednesday, June. 19 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Wave Room in Celebration Cinema North.

The new state code is expected to be enforced as soon as October.

What attendees will learn about the new code:

• Buildings are going to be required to be more efficient, not just equipment, but operation and use of building, as well.
• Requirements around system design are more stringent as efficiency levels are getting higher.
• Requirements around active energy management – you are now required to have plans for how to use your equipment.
