Join the Seattle 2030 District for a tour of Lumen Field!
From waste diversion to energy conservation, Lumen Field is changing what it means to have sustainable events in our stadiums. With 90% of solid waste from events diverted from landfills, locally sourced foods for events reducing the transportation impacts of food, and newly installed efficient lighting to help reduce energy usage, there are many reasons to celebrate Lumen Field’s commitment to sustainability.
Attendees will also learn about Seattle Public Utilities Green Business Program which supports property owners and managers to reduce their solid waste, waste water, and water usage on site. Representatives from Cascadia Consulting will be on hand to answer questions about how your building can save money and be recognized as an Envirostar!
