Join us for our last tour of the season. We’ll be visiting Corix Cleveland Thermal to learn the benefits of district energy and how our local steam and chilled water generation plant operates. Corix Cleveland Thermal has been a supplier of thermal energy to downtown Cleveland buildings for over 100 years. The aggregation of downtown heating and cooling loads at the central plant allows for integration of high-efficiency industrial grade equipment, process heat recovery, and a state-of-the-art continuous emissions monitoring system. Learn how district energy can be leveraged to help improve efficiency and reduce building GHG emissions.
We’ll meet at Southern Tier Brewing (811 Prospect) where a bus will take us to the plant, leaving at 4:15. When we return to Southern Tier Brewing at 5:30, Cleveland Thermal will host our happy hour with appetizers and beverages.
The tour is free but a donation is always appreciated.
