This session will look at power generation from a number of perspectives. Utilities are facing a changing landscape and must examine their business models to find ways to add value to their customers. Our speakers are executives from various utilities and associations who will help us better understand the past, present and future of their industry. We will discuss how economics, legislation, decarbonization, renewable energy, equity and other factors play into the connectivity of various power sources. Our speakers from Burlington Electric and VGS will also explain the unique collaboration they’ve forged and the remarkable progress they’ve made together in a state that pushes the boundaries to achieve 100% renewable energy in Vermont by 2030.
