Our Mission

• Build and install Icebreaker Wind, a 6 turbine, 20.7 megawatt offshore wind demonstration project 8 miles from downtown Cleveland in Lake Erie — the first freshwater offshore wind project in North America.
• Catalyze future offshore wind projects in the Great Lakes that will create thousands of jobs and help to clean our air and water.
• Make Ohio and the mid-west a leader in the U.S. wind energy manufacturing sector and supply chain.
• Make Ohio the first state in the Great Lakes Region to capture the economic and environmental benefits of offshore wind.
• Develop partnerships to fully realize the social and environmental benefits of a new and vibrant U.S. offshore wind energy industry.
