SUMMARY:Financing the Overlooked: Unlocking Capital for Retrofit Projects in Low-Rise Residential and Class B&C Commercial Buildings
DESCRIPTION:We talk a lot about scaling retrofits. But we rarely talk about who gets left out. \nLow-rise apartments\, condominiums\, and Class B & C commercial buildings represent a major share of urban building stock — and a significant decarbonization opportunity. \nYet these asset classes are routinely overlooked by traditional financing models. \nOwnership complexity. Smaller portfolios. Perceived risk. The result? Projects stall. \nOn April 7\, we’re convening a national conversation focused on unlocking capital for these overlooked building segments. \nIf we are serious about scaling retrofits\, we need financing pathways that actually reach the buildings that make up our cities. \n📅 Apr 7\, 2026\n⏰ 10:00 AM PST | 1:00 PM EST\n🔗 Registration link: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_wA5ySUPtSJqIxAY0GbAtyQ
