Join us to learn how to reduce transportation emissions at the\u00a0building level!<\/h3>\n

Transportation is the second largest source of carbon emissions in Philadelphia. A key feature of Philadelphia’s\u00a02030 District<\/a> is a pledge to reduce transportation emissions by 50% by 2030.<\/p>\n

In the past, we’ve measured progress toward meeting our\u00a0transportation emissions goal by analyzing\u00a0regional commuting\u00a0survey data to gauge how trends in transportation are progressing and whether commuters in and out of the district are utilizing less carbon-intensive modes of transit. But this tells us very little about transportation emissions on an individual\u00a0building level.<\/p>\n

That’s where our new transportation survey and emission calculator comes in!\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The survey will give a more accurate snapshot of commuting patterns, emissions, and policies\u00a0to inform what\u00a0changes\u00a0would most benefit buildings owners\u00a0and\u00a0residents.<\/p>\n

We are inviting all of our 2030 District Partners and GBU\u00a0community to our virtual Transportation Emissions Survey launch event\u00a0to walk through best practices for survey administration and goals for this new tool.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also\u00a0discuss\u00a0clean transportation achievements across Philadelphia\u00a0and\u00a0hear\u00a0from the Clean Air Council\u2019s<\/a> Cleaner Commute Program team to learn more about the resources available to make your commute and transportation options as green as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
