The Board of Commissioners has recognized the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the implementation of renewable energy for county operations as a top priority and has re-established the Environmental Affairs Commission. The commission meets on a quarterly basis to discuss relevant topics and work to support reduction in energy usage, green house gas emissions and support overall sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>The next meeting is on October 1, 2025 at 5:30 PM Eastern time at the Ingham County Human Services Building, 5303 S.Cedar, Lansing.
