Lansing Public School District is on a mission to transform Lansing public schools so they prepare young people for amazing futures. Since 2022, the district has raised graduation rates from 64% to 88%, the highest ever. The dropout rate has fallen to 5%, the lowest recorded rate. In the area of climate action, Lansing Public Schools are adding 5 megawatts of solar panels to Lansing schools to cut down on the district’s energy bills and emissions.
