The Advancement Corporation (TAC) is a grassroots organization focused on addressing the root causes of poverty and systemic injustice for marginalized communities.  It is an outgrowth of the Poor People’s Campaign started by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Our friends and neighbors face too many gaps when they try to help themselves overcome the challenges of poverty and systemic racism.  Our mission is to fill those gaps to give individuals the opportunity to live the life they want.
