A LANSING 2030 DISTRICT PARNER EVENT | More Details here

The Lansing 2030 District supports its partners with their efforts to further the goals of the district.  Join the City of Lansing at Foster Community Center on Tuesday September 16th, 2025 from 6-8PM to share input on the Non Motorized Transportation Plan.

The City of Lansing is hosting a Non Motorized Transportation Plan Workshop to gather input from the community on the planning process to enhance biking and walking networks. This work is a focused effort to make it easier, safer, more enjoyable, and more sustainable for everyone to walk, bike, and access transit throughout Lansing.

A few of the project goals include:

  • Support a Greener Future: Promote transportation options that reduce emissions and support a more sustainable city.
  • Better Connections: Identify ways to link parks, neighborhoods, shopping centers, and workplaces so everyone can get where they need to go.
  • Safer Streets: Find ways to make intersections and crossings safer for people of all ages and abilities.
  • Improve the Network: Expand and improve bikeways, trails, and signage to make travel easier and more intuitive.
  • More Recreation: Enhance access to Lansing’s parks and recreational amenities for everyone to enjoy.
