{"id":1845,"date":"2024-09-12T06:24:26","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T06:24:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2030districts.org\/ithaca\/?p=1845"},"modified":"2024-09-12T06:31:38","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T06:31:38","slug":"ithacas-new-all-electric-conference-center-featured-at-next-quarterly-partners-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2030districts.org\/ithaca\/ithacas-new-all-electric-conference-center-featured-at-next-quarterly-partners-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Ithaca&#8217;s New All-Electric Conference Center Featured at \ufeffUpcoming Quarterly Partners Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Katherine Taylor and Suzanne Smith Jablonski to Speak on Sept. 18th<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Katherine Taylor, general manager of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ithacadowntownconferencecenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ithaca Downtown Conference Center<\/a>, and Suzanne Smith Jablonski, executive director of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.downtownithacaldc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Downtown Ithaca Local Development Corporation<\/a>, will be the main presenters at our\u00a0upcoming quarterly meeting.<\/p>\n<p>They will introduce us to one of the most exciting new projects in the city, the first all-electric conference center in the United States, which opened earlier this summer.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1846\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1846\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1846\" src=\"https:\/\/2030districts.org\/ithaca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/Ithaca-Conference-Center-300x184.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/2030districts.org\/ithaca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/Ithaca-Conference-Center-300x184.png 300w, https:\/\/2030districts.org\/ithaca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/Ithaca-Conference-Center-140x86.png 140w, https:\/\/2030districts.org\/ithaca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/Ithaca-Conference-Center-200x123.png 200w, https:\/\/2030districts.org\/ithaca\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/Ithaca-Conference-Center.png 699w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1846\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The new all-electric Ithaca Downtown Conference Center.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The conference center, the largest in the region, includes a 12,300 square-foot grand ballroom, an executive boardroom, breakout rooms, trade show space, and a fully electric commercial kitchen for catering events.<\/p>\n<p>Located at 116-118 East Green St., the conference center occupies the first and second floors of the 12-story building, with 40 units of supportive housing and 141 units of affordable housing above the conference center.<\/p>\n<p>The building was designed and developed by the Vecino Group and construction began in 2021.
