Reporting-to-Action pilot (“R2A”), funded by BC Hydro<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Context: On June 1, 2026, all buildings over 30,000 square feet in Victoria<\/a> and Saanich<\/a> \u2013 as covered buildings<\/em> under Energy & Carbon Emissions Reporting Requirements bylaws \u2013 must report their 2025 utility consumption data to the CRD Building Benchmarking Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reporting is required, now wouldn’t it be nice to make the most of this data?<\/p>\n

The Greater Victoria 2030 District is recruiting a small number of covered buildings<\/strong> for a BC Hydro pilot <\/strong>that provides low-lift, practical support<\/strong> for owners with limited time or internal capacity.<\/p>\n
