This Inventory measures emissions for the following sectors and also measures performance against a 2008 inventory created by FTCH.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Transportation and mobile sources<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Residential energy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Commercial energy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Solid waste<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Water and wastewater<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Industrial energy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This Inventory will inform emissions reduction strategies, goals, costs and opportunities that will be included in the City\u2019s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan and other City programs, policies and plans.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The City of Grand Rapids\u2019 Office of Sustainability, in partnership the Grand Rapids Programs &amp; Policies for Equitable, Healthy &amp; Zero Carbon Buildings Initiative (E.H. Zero), hired ICLEI &#8211; Local Governments for Sustainability USA to complete this 2019 Inventory of Community and Government Operations Greenhouse Gas Emissions, which includes recommendations for science-based emissions targets.
