Are our targets sufficient, or is it time to reassess them?<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Our speakers will review the science behind climate trends and the potential consequences if we fail to meet the global climate targets established by the Paris Accord.\u00a0 When are we expecting to see 1.5 degrees of warming to occur and what can we predict about our climate?<\/li>\n<li>We will examine how the built environment contributes to climate change and how intentional actions by architects and the commercial building\u00a0sector can make a significant impact. We need to think about mitigation and adaptation for every building we\u00a0touch.<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Additionally, we will review some key, updated built environment related goals outlined in the Cleveland Climate Action Plan, as well as some included in the draft Regional Climate Action Plan, presented by Cleveland&#8217;s Office of Sustainability.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>We will provide an overview of where the built environment is today and what progress has been made both nationally and globally.\u00a0 Did we do enough?
