SUMMARY:Solar Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:We invite our 2030 District community and anyone interested in solar to participate in this exciting opportunity to learn about the latest in solar technologies. Join us as we hear from experts across the solar industry and connect with leaders in our community implementing solar at a variety of scales. \nParticipants interested in getting a quote can bring a recent utility bill for that address showing 12 months of electricity usage. This allows the contractor who will be available at the Solar Town Hall to provide an initial estimate of how much solar capacity could be installed at the property\, how much electricity solar panels would generate\, and how much installation would cost. This estimate is provided at no cost and does not obligate the property owner to take action. For those interested in a firm quote\, a site visit can also be arranged at the property owner’s request. The site visit will examine the roof and electricity service to the house or business. Again\, there is no obligation to purchase solar after this refined quote. \nNo registration is required. This event is free and open to the public. \nEvent Hosts: \n \nThe International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is comprised of proud union members with a wide diversity of skills and jobs. One of the most progressive unions in existence\, the IBEW represents some 750\,000 members in the United States and Canada.\n \nInvolved in the leading edge of technology\, IBEW utility members from all over the country are involved in maintaining power to homes\, battling some of the most adverse weather conditions to see that people have heat and electricity. In fact\, it’s almost impossible not to see the results daily of IBEW members at work. \n\n \nPRO Lighting & Solar is an innovative and creative company with a progressive approach to energy efficiency\, solar PV\, energy storage solutions and EV Charging infrastructure solutions. We specialize in net zero facilities. \n\n \nThe Cincinnati 2030 District is a collaborative effort to create a network of healthy\, sustainable\, & high-performing buildings in the city of Cincinnati. Participating members make a collective commitment to reduce their buildings’ energy use\, water consumption\, and transportation emissions by 50% by 2030.
